PRE-TRIAL PERIOD All families, as well as Braxton Babies, are entitled to a 2-week trial period, by which we can ensure that the arrangement is for the best of both parties. If you choose to have this option, prepayment at no discount is required for the 2-week term at the time of contract signing.

FORMS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED Cash, check, or credit card via PayPal. All payments made via Credit Card or PayPal will be subject to a 5% increase on rate to cover transaction charges. Cash payment will not be reported on taxes unless previously noted and agreed to in the admission contract. Payments by check will not be held for more than 3-5 days; NSF charges by either parties bank will be charged back to the client/parent for whom the account is held.

DEPOSIT/ADMISSION FEE All families are required to deposit $50 per child at the time of registration and on the annual renewal of said contract. This is a non-refundable deposit. All referrals are subject to a $25 client refund. There will also be a required two week security deposit required. This deposit will be held as final payment in the event contract termination is requested or required; this protects Braxton Babies fraud.

CONTRACTS All families are required to complete a registration contract. This contract includes all the terms & rates agreed to at admission time, as well as the agreed to increases/decreases in rate as the contract rolls with the said child’s age. You have the option of not signing a "long-term agreement" (LTA), however your child’s space with Braxton Babies WILL NOT be held and we will continue to advertise for the space. In the event we obtain a LTA contracted client for that space, your ability to attend Braxton Babies will terminate at the time the new clients contract begins. Conversely, you may sign a 3-month, 6-month, 9-month, or 12-month contract… by which Braxton Babies will hold your space for that full duration of time, will not increase your rates for that period, and will provide you with a prepayment discount opportunity if you choose to pay in monthly increments by the first day of service for each said month. Please note, however, that Braxton Babies will begin to advertise for your space within the 30-days prior to your contract ending. If you intend on continuing service with Braxton Babies, your next contract must be signed within the final two-weeks of your current agreement. Age appropriate rates or revised discounts will be considered with the new contract signing.

TERMINATION All families, as well as Braxton Babies, are entitled to termination of said agreement with a 2-week advanced notice in writing. Child is not required to attend Braxton Babies during this period, yet full prepayment at current rate (no discount) is required. The same policy is held for alterations in schedule... if part-time is now needed, yet full-time was contracted, you must provide a two-week notice of the change and will be required to make payment on the original contract amount for that period. The security deposit originally received at initial time of contract will be used towards this 2-week termination fee, yet any difference in rates will be required of client to be paid prior to final departure._________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
HOLIDAYS/TIME-OFF Braxton Babies will do our very best of informing families of the need for time-off; all national and religious holidays are subject to this potential (10-paid). Sick children, unless contagious, will not cause us to close shop; rather we will isolate sick children if necessary & contact parents when appropriate for early pick-up. Any child experiencing diarreah or vomitting will be handled with a 3-strike policy prior to requirement for removal from the premises for no less than 24 hours. Fevers exceding 102' for a duration longer than 1 hour will also require immediate removal from premises. All full-time families are allotted 12 sick days; one per month without pay to encourage families to keep their sick children home. Conversely, Braxton Babies reserves the right to take an additional 5-days paid holiday throughout any year. 2009/10 paid religious holiday's and neighboring days off include > New Years Eve (Thursday) & Day (Friday), Memorial Day (Monday), Easter Sunday's following Monday, Independence Day's following Monday, Labor Day (Monday), Thanksgiving Thursday & Friday, Christmas Eve (Friday) & Day, New Years Eve (Friday) & Day. The five remaining vacation days will be annouced no less than 10-days prior.

MEALS/SNACKS/SUPPLIES All infants & toddlers must have 2 bottles/cups for juice/milk, provided by the parents and intended to stay @ Braxton Babies during your child's term with us. All non-toilet trained children must have 1 package wipes and 1 package diapers provided by the parents each week (no less than 4 diapers per day); changes in sizes or number of diapers will be suggested by Braxton Babies. Please do not provide me with a low-quality diaper, as during the day when your child is most active is when we need to have good absorbancy & fit. BB will provide your child with AM milk/cereal (8am), mid-morning snack (10am), a healthy lunch with no less than 3 food groups represented (noon), a mid-afternoon snack (4pm) & and early-evening beverage if necessary. All infants must have their jarred foods provided by the parents until they reach the age of finger foods (not less than 1 year of age); if your child is not yet ready for this transformation, you will be required to continue providing the food until notified by BB. We kindly ask you to present your child with appropriate attire for the day, as well as to provide one additional outfit with your child in the case of soiled clothing. During all seasons, except for summer, socks & shoes must be provided - even for infants. Appropriate attire for the weather is requested so that we can enjoy the outdoors as often as possible. We will not require children fighting colds/viruses to endure the outdoors if so requested by the parents. A floatation swimsuit (design/style to be determined by BB) will also be required in order for your child to participate in swimming during the warm summer months. Life-vests or water-wings will not be suitable. A new suit must be provided each year, unless the child has not grown out of the one from a previous year.
